Economy, ergonomics, aesthetics, ethics and emotion – the Institut Français du Design has used these criteria since 1953 to evaluate products from different sectors, awarding the most outstanding with the Janus Label. This year, the Institution’s awards included ebm-papst for its AxiTop diffusor.
The AxiTop won over the selection committee with its energy savings and noise reduction, as well as its recyclable materials. The committee also highlighted ebm-papst’s development of the product with customers, installation technicians and neighbors equally in mind. The award places the fan manufacturer squarely among renowned award recipients such as Air France, Dyson, Peugeot and Phillips.
