The EXOBOX tours Germany for the second time in 2026, this time under the theme “EVOLUTION.” It brings mobile refrigeration directly to customers. On board is innovative cooling technology from the four partner companies Cabero, Weger, Heidinger, ebm-papst, and ebm-papst neo: recooling, ventilation systems, chilled water units, and the AI-powered software solution NEXAIRA.Systems. The units supply buildings with cooling in a highly efficient manner and are always operated at optimal performance by NEXAIRA.Systems. Operators—especially those of critical infrastructure such as data centers—benefit from a perfectly coordinated system that operates reliably and transparently around the clock in real-world conditions.

Intelligently networked as a system
For efficient building operation, it is crucial that the components are optimally coordinated with one another. Cabero, Weger, Heidinger, ebm-papst, and ebm-papst neo work together as strong partners to achieve this—and showcase the synergy of their products with the EXOBOX.
Here’s how smart building technology works:
Cabero Free/Recirculating Cooling System
Cabero’s free cooling and recooling system is designed as a V-block with highly efficient heat exchangers. The unit works optimally in conjunction with the Heidinger chiller. Using adiabatic spray cooling, the system reduces recooling times for greater overall efficiency.
Weger Full Air Conditioning System
The full-featured climate control system converts the generated cooling and heating into optimal air and climate conditions. Airflow, temperature, and indoor climate are tailored to customer requirements—for example, to meet the specific needs of data centers or cleanrooms.
Heidinger Chiller
The chiller generates 500 kW of cooling capacity and can also provide heat at the same time—for example, for dehumidification in conjunction with the Weger ventilation unit. The unit operates sustainably and is future-proof thanks to its use of the natural refrigerant propane.
NEXAIRA.Systems
The software solution creates a digital twin of all individual components, analyzes the data, and uses a machine-learning AI algorithm to model the optimal operating conditions at all times. This saves energy and ensures transparency.
The focus is on exchange: design engineers, equipment manufacturers, and operators meet with experts in ventilation and air-conditioning technology.
