In doing so, they also trust in state-of-the-art tech\u00adnology at the oper\u00adating table. It has to be reli\u00adable, stable and flex\u00adible so that the surgeons can fully concen\u00adtrate on their true job. For in modern medi\u00adcine, the table is far more than a mere surface for the patient to lie on. It has to be adjustable to the most diverse oper\u00ada\u00adtion scenarios \u2013 accu\u00adrately and quickly at that. This is a chal\u00adlenge that was encoun\u00adtered by the medical tech\u00adnology experts of Trumpf and the drive special\u00adists of ebm-papst when devel\u00adoping the TruSystem 7500 oper\u00adating table. The first contact between the two compa\u00adnies took place already in the 1990s. Since 2005 the two sides have combined their exper\u00adtise in a co-oper\u00ada\u00adtion.<\/p>\n
The table these experts devel\u00adoped is flex\u00adible, reli\u00adable and user-friendly, thereby fulfilling the strin\u00adgent require\u00adments of real-world appli\u00adca\u00adtions. This way the digital inputs can be imple\u00admented with mechan\u00adical reli\u00ada\u00adbility. The modular design of the ECI 63 drives used permits various modi\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtions. Thus gear\u00adboxes, drive motors, sensors and brakes can be config\u00adured for their indi\u00advidual planned use. The drives are partic\u00adu\u00adlarly reli\u00adable, since even power fail\u00adures and tech\u00adnical defects do not impair their func\u00adtion.<\/p>\n
More\u00adover, the compact compo\u00adnents enable the base and table column to be built in a way that saves an extreme amount of space. That guar\u00adan\u00adtees the surgeons a great amount of legroom and thereby also makes their work easier. The heart of the table control system is the compact drive system networked via CAN bus. This bus solu\u00adtion provides for fast and effi\u00adcient commu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtion of the control elec\u00adtronics. More\u00adover, the control system is in contact with other devices and thereby prevents colli\u00adsions when the table is moving. Along with this, however, the installed drives fulfil all criteria concerning elec\u00adtro\u00admag\u00adnetic compat\u00adi\u00adbility (EMC). This means that, unlike mobile tele\u00adphones, which are unde\u00adsir\u00adable in hospi\u00adtals, they do not have a nega\u00adtive impact on other elec\u00adtronic devices \u2013 a crite\u00adrion that is poten\u00adtially of vital impor\u00adtance.<\/p>\n
The design of the table follows the human anatomy; the table is segmented in accor\u00addance with the body\u2019s shape. By means of its stability and design, the table can liter\u00adally put every patient in the right posi\u00adtion. The table can carry up to 360 kilo\u00adgrams and move into any posi\u00adtion. Thus it also safely brings patients into posi\u00adtions in which either the head or the legs have to be the highest point of the body.
