It was founded in 1876 by Theophil Roniger and Mathias W\u00fcthrich and built in the \u201ccastle renais\u00adsance\u201d style. This was intended to give the company a digni\u00adfied, pres\u00adti\u00adgious appear\u00adance that honored the old brewing tradi\u00adtion. At the same time, Feld\u00adschl\u00f6ss\u00adchen was often ahead of its time. As early as 1889, it had a railway siding connec\u00adtion so that beer could be deliv\u00adered nation\u00adwide. From 1912 onwards, the brewery horses were replaced by trucks \u2013 and today, elec\u00adtric trucks, powered by their own solar energy, deliver the beer in a CO<sub>2<\/sub>-neutral way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The brewing process itself is also modern. Highly auto\u00admated brewing systems digi\u00adtally control the mashing and fermen\u00adta\u00adtion, combining tradi\u00adtional brewing artistry with the latest tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies. (Image | Feld\u00adschl\u00f6ss\u00adchen Supply Company AG)<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">RadiFit: Uncom\u00adpli\u00adcated and effec\u00adtive<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When the venti\u00adlation in one of the employee changing rooms at Feld\u00adschl\u00f6ss\u00adchen stopped working \u2013 the impeller of the respec\u00adtive AC fan had broken off from its mounting after count\u00adless years of oper\u00ada\u00adtion \u2013 a rapid main\u00adte\u00adnance measure was required. The chal\u00adlenge was met by installing the old fan in a large monoblock system. Sebas\u00adtian Haude, Util\u00adi\u00adties Manager at Feld\u00adschl\u00f6ss\u00adchen Supply Company AG, explains: \u201cFrom a busi\u00adness perspec\u00adtive, installing a new monoblock was out of the ques\u00adtion \u2013 it would have cost around 30,000 Swiss francs.\u201d The tech\u00adnical depart\u00adment turned to R. Timo R\u00fcnzi explains: \u201cOur service tech\u00adni\u00adcian removed the broken fan and installed and commis\u00adsioned the RadiFit within a few hours.\u201d The compact design and plug-and-play construc\u00adtion helped, and no modi\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtions to the old monoblock system were neces\u00adsary. Although energy savings were not the focus of the retrofit, the effi\u00adciency and high oper\u00ada\u00adtional reli\u00ada\u00adbility were compelling.
