It is oper\u00adated by Steier\u00adm\u00e4rkische Kranke\u00adnanstal\u00adtenge\u00adsellschaft (KAGes), one of Austria\u2019s largest health care providers with a port\u00adfolio of 18 state hospi\u00adtals and a work\u00adforce of over 17,000.&nbsp;In recent years, several of its facil\u00adi\u00adties had faced increasing repairs to the old venti\u00adlation systems. Instead of just opting for short-term fixes, the orga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtion decided on a more long-term solu\u00adtion. Working together with retrofit expert J\u00fcrgen Pichler, many of the KAGes sites have already been success\u00adfully upgraded with modern systems that are more effi\u00adcient, quieter, and more reli\u00adable than their prede\u00adces\u00adsors. The modern\u00adiza\u00adtion program made such an impres\u00adsion that word quickly spread within the orga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtion, trig\u00adgering a major wave of upgrades. In 2021 the time came to upgrade the state hospital in Bruck. More\u00adover, the filters had to be replaced frequently. In each of the 45 systems, a RadiPac fan from ebm-papst now ensures effi\u00adcient oper\u00ada\u00adtion. The project team also replaced heating pumps and control cabi\u00adnets.
