How did that come about?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our two compa\u00adnies have a long-standing rela\u00adtion\u00adship, and we share the view that data is not an end in itself, but rather the basis for better deci\u00adsions, greater effi\u00adciency, and also more trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zehnder had been looking for a solu\u00adtion to make air puri\u00adfiers more intel\u00adli\u00adgent for several years. To do this, we needed a partner who under\u00adstood air tech\u00adnology and had IoT exper\u00adtise \u2013 and that turned out to be ebm-papst with ebm-papst neo, its digital forge. From 2021 onwards, we pooled our exper\u00adtise. We provided the appli\u00adca\u00adtion concept, the require\u00adments, and the target vision, while ebm-papst neo devel\u00adoped the tech\u00adno\u00adlog\u00adical infra\u00adstruc\u00adture for the digital connec\u00adtion. We use a stan\u00addard fan from ebm-papst that comes with a MODBUS inter\u00adface. This allows para\u00adme\u00adters such as speed and current draw to be read out. Addi\u00adtional sensors measure other vari\u00adables such as temper\u00ada\u00adture, humidity, and fine dust in the ambient air. Each box contains an Intel\u00adli\u00adGate gateway from ebm-papst for data collec\u00adtion and trans\u00admis\u00adsion. The gateway uses the inte\u00adgrated mobile connec\u00adtion to send a constant stream of encrypted data collected from the fan and the air to the cloud plat\u00adform, where it is analyzed and visu\u00adal\u00adized. The dash\u00adboard can be accessed by customers and our service team.
