Mr. Hand\u00adschuh, resource effi\u00adciency has become a hugely impor\u00adtant topic in recent years. Why do you think this is?<\/h3>\n\n\n

Devel\u00adop\u00adments in recent years have shown that we need to use the resources avail\u00adable to us today more respon\u00adsibly. This includes keeping and processing them within a circular economy that is as CO2e neutral and energy effi\u00adcient as possible. ebm-papst recog\u00adnized this change early on and posi\u00adtioned itself accord\u00adingly. Short trans\u00adport routes, opti\u00admized use of space, low space consump\u00adtion, and energy-effi\u00adcient oper\u00ada\u00adtion are all hugely impor\u00adtant to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One result of this process is the devel\u00adop\u00adment of high-speed drives \u2013 ebm-papst\u2019s High\u00adSpeed prod\u00aducts. What makes this concep\u00adtual approach so special?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The High\u00adSpeed busi\u00adness field repre\u00adsents the perfect combi\u00adna\u00adtion of our resource and mate\u00adrial flows. This enables us to develop high-speed drives for a wide range of appli\u00adca\u00adtions, with a whole host of sustain\u00adable quality features. These include dura\u00adbility, low weight and mate\u00adrial-friendly produc\u00adtion, as well as lower power consump\u00adtion and thus higher energy effi\u00adciency. The energy effi\u00adciency poten\u00adtial of our new High\u00adSpeed refrig\u00aderant compres\u00adsors, for example, is between 10 and 35 percent depending on the appli\u00adca\u00adtion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No, not at all. High\u00adSpeed was and is a strategic expan\u00adsion of the ebm-papst product port\u00adfolio. We used our existing core areas of exper\u00adtise in aero\u00addy\u00adnamics, motors, and elec\u00adtronics as a starting point. We then set up an inter\u00addis\u00adci\u00adpli\u00adnary team to expand on this exper\u00adtise, adding oil-free high-speed bear\u00adings and the asso\u00adci\u00adated manu\u00adfac\u00adturing skills as new strings to our bow. With these future-proof prod\u00aducts, we can offer highly effi\u00adcient solu\u00adtions whose compo\u00adnents work in perfect harmony. This is exactly what our customers need, as their demand for resource and mate\u00adrial-effi\u00adcient prod\u00aducts is constantly growing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
