At the same time, we were receiving more and more requests for compres\u00adsors to generate cooling or heat. For us, the next logical step was not just to move air, but also to compress gases in general \u2013 with compact solu\u00adtions that fit into various customer appli\u00adca\u00adtions such as air condi\u00adtioners and heat pumps. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And there was no ques\u00adtion from the outset that we could develop these compres\u00adsors. After all, with aero\u00addy\u00adnamics, motor tech\u00adnology and elec\u00adtronics, we already had the most impor\u00adtant exper\u00adtise in-house. We just needed to bring them together and add bearing produc\u00adtion for high-speed drives. Until now, there have been no oil-free alter\u00adna\u00adtives on the market in the range from one to 45 kilo\u00adwatts of elec\u00adtrical power consump\u00adtion. Second, our compressor runs much more smoothly without oil, thanks to a gas cushion that the drive rotor \u201cglides\u201d on. This enables us to achieve higher speeds with the same energy input and signif\u00adi\u00adcantly less wear in the drive bearing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">And it\u2019s also cleaner?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Absolutely! Our customers no longer need to top up or dispose of oil, which saves time and money and protects the envi\u00adron\u00adment. In addi\u00adtion, oil in heating and refrig\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion circuits leads to pres\u00adsure losses, poorer heat transfer, and ulti\u00admately to higher energy consump\u00adtion. What\u2019s more, propane is not affected by the F-Gas Regu\u00adla\u00adtion and covers a wide temper\u00ada\u00adture range from \u221240 to +70 degrees Celsius. For temper\u00ada\u00adtures above this, we use butane and isobu\u00adtane, which also have low GWPs. Air is best suited for temper\u00ada\u00adtures below \u221250 degrees Celsius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What else can customers expect from the turbo compres\u00adsors?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our plat\u00adform strategy allows us to offer our compressor for many different appli\u00adca\u00adtions and require\u00adments. In addi\u00adtion, we aim to provide our customers with complete system solu\u00adtions in this area too.
