Super\u00admarket chains, office building oper\u00ada\u00adtors and other indus\u00adtrial firms enjoy energy savings that are some\u00adtimes huge, reduced noise emis\u00adsions and the possi\u00adbility of digital inte\u00adgra\u00adtion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But this retrofit is different. As part of its sustain\u00adability strategy, the fan specialist has also taken a close look at its own venti\u00adlation systems and decided to upgrade to the latest fan tech\u00adnology at its three German loca\u00adtions in Mulfingen, St. Georgen and Land\u00adshut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ebm-papst service center Breuell &amp; Hilgen\u00adfeldt handled the plan\u00adning and design, while Pf\u00e4nder GmbH was respon\u00adsible for replacing the systems at the Mulfingen loca\u00adtion. The latest AxiEco axial fans are now used in the rele\u00advant rooftop coolers instead of fans from the HyBlade series. By contrast, the \u201cclassic\u201d retrofit case \u2013 belt-driven AC fan vs. new EC model \u2013 only occurred six times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Of course, this is where the greatest energy savings of around 50 percent can be expected.
