Deveaux has been producing textiles for over 200 years \u2013 currently with 37 employees and 63 looms. Every day they trans\u00adform the finest cotton into up to 10,000 meters of fabric. Moos)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Thibaud von Tschammer, Managing Director of Deveaux, explains: \u201cWe process cotton into luxu\u00adrious fabrics and stable humidity is essen\u00adtial for this. If it is not right, the looms react and produc\u00adtivity can be halved. If the air is too dry, for example, the yarns can easily break. But like moths to a cloth, the ravages of time gnawed away at the system. \u201cAt the time, we had a partic\u00adu\u00adlarly advanced venti\u00adlation system installed by J.Moos, which made a deci\u00adsive contri\u00adbu\u00adtion to the quality of our fabrics and hence to our good name in the textile industry. But like fashion, tech\u00adnology continues to evolve. Moos)<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enter FanGrid<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of 2022, there was a clean-out: Instead of the four outdated AC axial compact fans in the venti\u00adlation system, Deveaux received a total of 48 centrifugal fans from the RadiPac series from ebm-papst. With two fan walls of 24 Radi\u00adPacs each, it is ebm-papst\u2019s largest FanGrid project in France to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was clear to Hugues Letombe, the owner of J.Moos\u2019 supplier Deressy Charlas, that it had to be RadiPac for Deveaux\u2019s require\u00adments. As he explains: \u201cWhen J.Moos contacted us about retro\u00adfitting old gener\u00ada\u00adtion axial fans, I imme\u00addi\u00adately thought of ebm-papst and its new K3G and RadiPac fans because of the require\u00adments. They work very effi\u00adciently, can be easily plugged together to form a FanGrid thanks to their cube design and have auto\u00admatic reso\u00adnance detec\u00adtion on board. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This point was partic\u00adu\u00adlarly impor\u00adtant for Deveaux\u2019s existing system so that it would last a long time.
