New prod\u00aducts, sizes or compo\u00adnents pass through the test stations in a total of six test fields over an area of approx\u00adi\u00admately 2,500 square meters. In this series, we take a closer look at each of these test bays. The first of these test fields deals with vibra\u00adtion and shock loads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the customer\u2019s appli\u00adca\u00adtion, some fans still travel a long way \u2013 for example, by truck, train or container ship to their final desti\u00adna\u00adtion. The product is contin\u00adu\u00adously exposed to vibra\u00adtion and, in some cases, shock loads during this process. Depending on the type and dura\u00adtion of the load, this can affect the service life of the fan \u2013 before it ever starts oper\u00ada\u00adtion at the site. These emit vibra\u00adtions of varying strength and dura\u00adtion to the product, which can occur in real use during trans\u00adport or loading. The system auto\u00admat\u00adi\u00adcally regu\u00adlates the ampli\u00adtude and frequency of the vibra\u00adtion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the shock test area, more force is applied: Here, the test bench directly applies indi\u00advidual shock pulses to the test spec\u00adimen mounted on it.
