But its elegant design is not the only thing that sets the BORA X BO apart. Behind the mini\u00admalist surface lies the finest tech\u00adnology. Rein\u00adhard Hofer, Project Manage\u00adment R&amp;D Team Lead at BORA, explains: \u201cThis steam oven offers private customers options that were previ\u00adously only avail\u00adable in profes\u00adsional kitchens. It makes cooking a breeze.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWhat was special about this project was that, for the first time in our many years of coop\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion with BORA, it combined compo\u00adnents from both Mulfingen and Land\u00adshut.\u201d<\/p>\n<cite>Jens Peter, Regional Sales Manager at ebm-papst Mulfingen<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Optimal heat distri\u00adb\u00adu\u00adtion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For the FlexBack\u00adofen BORA X BO, the soft\u00adware devel\u00adopers created a large number of preset programs in collab\u00ado\u00adra\u00adtion with award-winning chefs. These programs can be called up very easily using the 19-inch touch\u00adscreen display and lead to perfect results. From crack\u00adling pork roast to fish and tender pastries a capac\u00aditor motor from ebm-papst Land\u00adshut ensures that dishes succeed on all three cooking levels by opti\u00admally distrib\u00aduting heat in the cooking chamber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tech\u00adnology from ebm-papst also plays an impor\u00adtant role in another high\u00adlight of the BORA X BO, as the auto\u00admatic steam extrac\u00adtion system uses a centrifugal blower from ebm-papst Mulfingen. \u201cWhat was special about this project was that, for the first time in our many years of coop\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion with BORA, it combined compo\u00adnents from both Mulfingen and Land\u00adshut,\u201d explains Jens Peter, Regional Sales Manager at ebm-papst Mulfingen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Clever steam extrac\u00adtion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For the FlexBack\u00adofen BORA X BO, the Land\u00adshut designers short\u00adened a stan\u00addard motor and fitted two new bearing brackets to make room for it on the back of the steamer. The centrifugal blower, which is auto\u00admat\u00adi\u00adcally acti\u00advated when the oven door is unlocked and opened, is also located on the back. Within a few seconds, this so-called evac\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion fan sucks the entire cooking chamber empty, preventing steam and odors from escaping into the room. The steam is condensed and discharged via several bypasses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ebm-papst devel\u00adopers took advan\u00adtage of the resulting exhaust air cooling, as Peter explains: \u201cThe motor and the blower are exposed to heat during oper\u00ada\u00adtion. That\u2019s why we turned the fan on instal\u00adla\u00adtion so that the cold exhaust air meets the motor directly, cools it, and imme\u00addi\u00adately dissi\u00adpates the heat.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cAs with other projects, we were able to rely on the exper\u00adtise of ebm-papst engi\u00adneers.\u201d<\/p>\n<cite>Rein\u00adhard Hofer, Project Manage\u00adment R&amp;D Team Lead at BORA<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bril\u00adliant protec\u00adtion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The inge\u00adnious cleaning system also sets the BORA X BO apart, explains Rein\u00adhard Hofer: \u201cAs with indus\u00adtrial appli\u00adances, the stain\u00adless steel cooking chamber is not cleaned using heat, but with the aid of sodium bicar\u00adbonate and citric acid. The envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtally friendly active ingre\u00addi\u00adents are contained in a dual-chamber cleaning cartridge and are released together with steam when the cleaning program is acti\u00advated. This gets every\u00adthing sparkling clean again.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure that the engine is not damaged during the cleaning process, the Land\u00adshut experts relied on acid-resis\u00adtant seals. \u201cAs with other projects, we were able to rely on the exper\u00adtise of ebm-papst engi\u00adneers,\u201d concludes Hofer. \u201cThey provided us with a custom-fit solu\u00adtion that meets one hundred percent of our strin\u00adgent quality require\u00adments, as envi\u00adsioned by company founder Willi Bruck\u00adbauer.\u201d\u2002<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Matt black gloss, simple elegance and no annoying levers or knobs: the new BORA X BO steam oven is a perfect match for the high aesthetic stan\u00addards with which kitchen appli\u00adance manu\u00adfac\u00adturer BORA has made a name for itself.
