First they have to accli\u00adma\u00adtize and take deep breaths before being able to analyze their next oppo\u00adnent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accel\u00ader\u00adating this \u201ccool down\u201d requires a good team envi\u00adron\u00adment, of course. But the right indoor climate is also impor\u00adtant. After all, a cool head and plenty of oxygen are best for discussing tactics. It is a good thing that the DFB has installed venti\u00adlation systems made by NOVA Appa\u00adrate GmbH in its new foot\u00adball academy. They supply the entire building complex with suffi\u00adcient fresh air and regu\u00adlate the temper\u00ada\u00adture and humidity. The used air is taken in from the inte\u00adrior and moist\u00adened with small spray nozzles. The water evap\u00ado\u00adrates and extracts heat from the exhaust air. This occurs in the Ka2O counter-current heat exchangers, where the warm external air drawn in is cooled down by the cold exhaust air without mixing with it. This makes evap\u00ado\u00adra\u00adtive cooling partic\u00adu\u00adlarly envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtally friendly. After all, it can make do with nothing other than water and a bit of elec\u00adtrical power for the water pumps and fans. As a result, the AHUs in the DFB academy are extremely energy-effi\u00adcient and almost completely CO2-neutral. The DFB places great value on this, which shows that more and more compa\u00adnies are using Ka2O tech\u00adnology in order to reduce their carbon foot\u00adprint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe were so impressed by the envi\u00adron\u00admental creden\u00adtials of the evap\u00ado\u00adra\u00adtion cooling concept, that we decided to use the AHUs from NOVA Appa\u00adrate GmbH for the new foot\u00adball academy.\u201d<\/p>\n<cite>Winfried Na\u00df, Tech\u00adnical Project Manager \u2013 Deutscher Fu\u00dfball-Bund e.V<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The only disad\u00advan\u00adtage of evap\u00ado\u00adra\u00adtion cooling so far has been the limited cooling level \u2013 a maximum of 12 Kelvin. However, this problem has been solved with the inno\u00adv\u00ada\u00adtive Ka2O tech\u00adnology from NOVA. The trick is: instead of using a single large heat exchanger, many small heat exchangers are combined in modular form. In addi\u00adtion, the module surfaces through which the old room air is drawn in are sprayed directly with water. This produces a contin\u00aduous water film across a number of small surfaces and an overall cooling effect of the outside air of up to 20 Kelvin. This is where RadiPac centrifugal fans from ebm-papst come into play. They have a very robust, low-vibra\u00adtion high-perfor\u00admance impeller that can with\u00adstand high back pres\u00adsures. Secondly, because of the envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtally friendly cooling concept behind Ka2O tech\u00adnology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Farewell aerosols<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addi\u00adtion to energy effi\u00adciency and low CO2 emis\u00adsions, the quality of the distrib\u00aduted air has also been an impor\u00adtant topic. After all, poor or incor\u00adrect venti\u00adlation increases the risk of infec\u00adtion, for example with COVID-19. But the AHUs from NOVA also excel in this regard, as they only use fresh air from outside. This means that the air indoors is contin\u00adu\u00adously diluted and aerosols consid\u00ader\u00adably reduced.
