The design and aero\u00addy\u00adnamics of the car are so vital to success or failure and the slightest adjust\u00adment to the wing or nose of the car can mean the differ\u00adence between a podium finish or not.&nbsp;Circuit de Monaco gets a lot of praise and would be awesome to visit \u2013 the road courses are a lot more inter\u00adesting and certainly strategy plays a bigger role with the various hairpin turns \u2013 makes passing a lot more chal\u00adlenging.<\/p>\n<h3>What is your impres\u00adsion of the part\u00adner\u00adship between Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motor\u00adsport and ebm-papst?<\/h3>\n<p>It certainly seems to be a bene\u00adfi\u00adcial one to both parties. Seeing the ebm-papst product in the garage to cool the vehicle\u2019s system and elec\u00adtronics while they are working on it to the stand-alone fans on the floor circu\u00adlating the air for the garage crew is impres\u00adsive. Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motor\u00adsport indi\u00adcated that the move to ebm-papst prod\u00aducts has improved the team\u2019s ability to work on the vehicle under more extreme condi\u00adtions and push the vehicle to its limits.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Like a lot of successful busi\u00adnesses, there is a large team behind the scenes that really helps bring every\u00adthing together.<\/p>\n<p><cite>Chris McPhail, ebm-papst Inc.<\/cite><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>What was the most impres\u00adsive thing about the Montreal race this year? What did you learn?<\/h3>\n<p>We had the oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to go into the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motor\u00adsport garage in Montreal and have a tour of what goes on behind the scenes. The indi\u00advidual that gave the tour mentioned that we were the 1 percent of the 1 percent that get to see the car and work\u00adings of the team from this vantage point. There is so much R&amp;D that goes into the design of these vehi\u00adcles as each team is constantly looking for that advan\u00adtage over the compe\u00adti\u00adtion.
