ebm-papst wins Auto­mo­tive Supply Chain Global Award

In mid-November, the Berkeley Hotel in London was a worthy venue for the festive presen­ta­tion of the “Auto­mo­tive Supply Chain Global Awards 2013”. In the cate­gory “Envi­ron­mental Aware­ness”, the jury awarded the prize to ebm-papst.

Gareth Jones, Managing Director of ebm-papst Auto­mo­tive & Drives (UK) Ltd, accepted the award and said: “The core product that we produce – EC motors – bene­fits a number of our customers by a reduc­tion in energy consump­tion in their product and an increase in perfor­mance. We really appre­ciate having that work recog­nised by such a panel.” ebm-papst won the price against stiff compe­ti­tion like Volvo and DHL.
